I wouldn’t believe them, if I were you 😏

Have you ever noticed how quickly you believe your own thoughts?

Something pops into your mind, and before you even question it, you’ve already reacted to it 🚀

It can be something small, like assuming someone is upset with you, or something bigger, like thinking you’re not ready for something you actually want.

And in the moment, it feels very real. Very convincing.

But if you pause for a second and actually look at that thought, you might realise it’s not based on what’s happening right now, but on something you’ve experienced before.

Your mind is very good at trying to keep you safe, but it doesn’t necessarily tell you the truth. It tells you what feels familiar.

So if you’ve spent years experiencing stress, rejection, or uncertainty, your thoughts will often reflect that, even when your current reality is different.

And the tricky part is, most people don’t question it.

They just accept those thoughts as facts, and then build their decisions, their confidence, and their lives around them.

Which… when you really think about it, is a bit wild 😅

Because it means you could be living your life based on thoughts that aren’t even true.

That are just repeating old fears on a loop.

Lately, I’ve been playing with this a lot more.

Instead of immediately believing what comes up in my mind, I’ve been treating it almost like an awareness practice.

I notice the thought, and then I question it.

“Is this even true?”

And honestly, most of the time… it’s not 😅

It’s just something my mind learned from previous experiences and is now replaying automatically.

And the moment you see that, it frees you from identifying with it ✅

You don’t feel as controlled by it anymore.

You don’t have to follow every thought down the spiral.

You can just notice it, question it, and decide what you actually want to believe instead.

And that, for me, has been such a simple but powerful shift.

I want to invite you to notice and challenge one of your thoughts this weekend 💭

Keep it as an intention, and just see what you’ll notice 👀

And if you’re celebrating — wishing you a beautiful Easter weekend 🤍

With all my love,

Darja ❤️

For a long time, I thought I was supposed to show up online as this picture-perfect version of myself 💅 To only show the side of me who had things figured out, and hide the parts where she was still finding her way. But this was a one-way ticket to burnout, because I had to use so much of my energy to do so. And not to mention what it was doing to my self-worth and confidence. (Imagine someone telling you every day that you’re not worthy as you are 🥹) And ever since learning that lesson, one...

A couple of months ago, when I was deep into my work with limiting beliefs, I came across a study that really changed the way I see life, and today I want to share it with you, in the hope that it shifts something in you as it did for me. No pressure lol 🤣 There was a study of self-identified "lucky people" and self-identified "unlucky people", and they were asked to do a very simple task: Flip through a specific newspaper and count the number of images. That’s it. Just count the number of...

As humans, we are evolutionarily wired to see the world through a slightly negative lens, also known as negativity bias, and it is an inherited survival mechanism. Our ancestors were much more likely to survive when they stayed alert to potential threats (like predators) than by focusing on pleasant and positive things. But in this day and age, we don’t really spend our days in forests and open fields scavenging for food - most of us spend our days under fluorescent lights in a stuffy office,...
